Health is such an important subject, but it can be extremely difficult sometimes to discern the truth from all the conflicting evidence. I have been involved with different health-based MLM companies most of my life (just a part of my family legacy)... but have a hard time recommending that path now. Why?
- Almost always over-priced
- Lack of true scientific evidence (double-blind human trials)
- Gets you wrapped up in faulty business practices
- Continues the"pill" mentality instead of diet & exercise
I have found that most people have a general understanding of healthy foods and healthy habits, but simply lack the desire to make any significant differences. I have fallen into that category for years myself.
I've finally ironed out a regular workout schedule and am seeing results from that. We're planting our garden again soon, as there is no better way to get fresh vegetables than growing your own! I'm also a big believer learning about natural health. Below I've included some great links below for more information. As for supplements... I now find that it is hard to beat the cost & quality combination of some of Costco's brands:
Kirkland signature, and Nature Made
